Lonohana Estate Chocolate is a truly seed-to-bar company rooted on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, where cacao is grown, harvested, and transformed into world-class chocolate. Founded in 2009 with the vision of creating a transparent and sustainable chocolate company, Lonohana farms 14 acres of cacao on the North Shore and crafts small-batch chocolate in its Honolulu factory. By overseeing every step of the process—from propagating seedlings and fermenting beans to handcrafting bars—the company ensures quality, transparency, and a deep connection to Hawaiʻi’s land and culture.
Dedicated to regenerative agriculture, Lonohana works to restore the health of the ʻāina while honoring the people, heritage, and flavors of Hawaiʻi.
