Matsumoto Studios, founded by sisters Jes and Jen, is a creative venture that beautifully encapsulates their shared passion for art, design, and tea, all rooted in their upbringing on the enchanting island of Maui. Although they now call central Maui home, their early years in Pukalani deeply influence their artistic vision. After pursuing degrees in art and design away from Hawaii, they found inspiration in the contrast between bustling cities and the unique charm of their island home, leading them to integrate elements of Hawaiian culture, Aloha, and family into their artwork.
Now celebrating over a decade of sharing their designs, Matsumoto Studios has grown to serve both the local community and a global audience. Their journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs, reflecting the unpredictable nature of life. Jes and Jen invite everyone to join them in their creative journey, fostering a sense of connection and gratitude for the support of their growing village, especially during these transformative times for Maui.
