HALE PUA
Hale Pua is a vibrant, Native Hawaiian-owned brand led by Shauna Keānuenueokekoʻolau Kahiapo from Koʻolaupoko, Oʻahu, operating alongside her partner Jason and their family in Kāneʻohe. Shauna, an attorney with credentials in Native Hawaiian and Environmental Law from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, channels her deep love for ʻāina (land) and lāhui (people) into the brand. Their catalogue features hats, accessories, art kits, and sustainably crafted gifts—each item rooted in aloha and designed to promote local culture and craftsmanship.
Beyond the products, Hale Pua is committed to meaningful action: when not in their shop, Shauna and her ʻohana are tending to and restoring land at Kaʻalaea Valley to create a thriving ecosystem of native meaʻai (food) and habitat for native species, reinforcing their ethos of mālama ʻāina. By choosing Hale Pua, customers support a brand that not only delivers exclusive, Hawai‘i-inspired goods but also honors heritage, sustains land, and uplifts the community.
