Kaleimamo Hawaiʻi, an ʻohana-owned business from Honolulu, brings Native Hawaiian culture to the forefront of sustainable parenting. Founded by Pōhai, Kaleimamo Hawaiʻi creates beautiful, reusable cloth diapers and accessories that celebrate Hawaiian heritage through vibrant, culturally inspired designs. Named after Pōhai’s daughter, “Kaleimamo” symbolizes a lei of yellow lehua blossoms and extends to all keiki, weaving connections between families worldwide in the spirit of protecting our honua (world) for future generations.

The journey began when Pōhai and her husband, ʻOlu, discovered the environmental impact of disposable diapers and sought a better way. Their commitment to eco-friendly diapering led them to cloth, and they soon found a passion for sharing this sustainable option with other families. By combining functionality with a deep respect for Hawaiian culture, Kaleimamo Hawaiʻi offers parents a meaningful, earth-conscious choice that also honors Hawaiian traditions and values.

All orders are packed and shipped from Hawai'i with care. Please allow 1–2 business days for processing before your gift is sent out.

Warm-Weather & Seasonal Considerations

During warmer months — typically May through September — and year-round when shipping to warm-weather destinations (including the Southern U.S., Southwest, Hawaii, and international tropical climates), packages may experience elevated temperatures inside delivery vehicles, postal facilities, and mailboxes. This is a normal part of shipping perishable food items and is outside our control once a package leaves our facility.

Transit Risk

While we pack our chocolate items with care, we cannot guarantee a specific temperature inside your package during transit. Chocolate that has softened or bloomed during shipping is still safe to eat, though the texture and appearance may be affected.

Packaging Precautions

We recommend selecting a faster shipping service at checkout to reduce the time your order spends in transit during warm weather. If you are sending a gift to a recipient in a warm-weather region, consider timing your order to arrive when someone will be home to receive it promptly.

If Your Chocolate Arrives Soft or Melted

If your order arrives soft, please refrigerate or place in a cool area immediately. The chocolate will typically re-set as it cools and is safe to enjoy. If the product arrived in an unsatisfactory condition beyond softening — such as a broken seal, spilled contents, or visible spoilage — please contact us at info@mekealohagifts.com with a photo and your order number, and we will review your case individually.
