Laha'ole Designs offers jewelry inspired by the natural beauty and culture of Hawai'i, crafted by Native Hawaiian owner and designer Tanya Uyehara. Born and raised on Oʻahu in a family rich in arts, music, and hula, Tanya founded Laha'ole Designs in 2013 while on maternity leave, initially as a way to create meaningful gifts. Her vision for the brand has since grown, blending unique craftsmanship with deep cultural significance. All orders are packed and shipped from Hawai'i with care. Please allow 1–2 business days for processing before your gift is sent out.

During warmer months — typically May through September — and year-round when shipping to warm-weather destinations (including the Southern U.S., Southwest, Hawaii, and international tropical climates), packages may experience elevated temperatures inside delivery vehicles, postal facilities, and mailboxes. This is a normal part of shipping perishable food items and is outside our control once a package leaves our facility.

Transit Risk

While we pack our chocolate items with care, we cannot guarantee a specific temperature inside your package during transit. Chocolate that has softened or bloomed during shipping is still safe to eat, though the texture and appearance may be affected.

If Your Chocolate Arrives Soft or Melted

If your order arrives soft, please refrigerate or place in a cool area immediately. The chocolate will typically re-set as it cools and is safe to enjoy. If the product arrived in an unsatisfactory condition beyond softening — such as a broken seal, spilled contents, or visible spoilage — please contact us at info@mekealohagifts.com with a photo and your order number, and we will review your case individually.
