MEET OUR ARTISAN: ISLAND HARVEST

Island Harvest brings you macadamia nuts grown with care on over 700 acres of certified organic farmland in North Kohala, Hawai'i. With roots in Kohala’s rich soil and ideal climate, these macadamias grow naturally without irrigation, producing a distinctively rich, buttery flavor. After nearly 30 years of wholesaling, Island Harvest launched its own line of organic macadamia products in 2021, bringing this sustainably grown treasure straight to consumers.

Island Harvest believes in farming that nurtures the land, supports community well-being, and values each worker. Their holistic approach includes organic, regenerative practices that build soil health and eliminate harmful chemicals, with all profits reinvested into sustainable growth and the local community. Fifty percent of proceeds support soil health initiatives, while 25% funds Kohala community programs in partnership with local organizations, and 25% goes to Island Harvest’s dedicated employees.

With roots going back to the post-sugarcane era of the 1970s, Island Harvest is more than a macadamia farm—it’s a community steward. Their mission is to enrich the land and Kohala’s residents by offering quality, organic food cultivated with love, justice, and a commitment to sustainable farming.
