Left Right Design emerged during the pandemic as a way for owner and designer Sam to foster community and support small businesses during a challenging time. What began as a networking initiative has grown into a brand known for its colorful, fun, and thoughtfully designed products that bring joy and encourage families to spend quality, screen-free time together. Every product is hand-drawn and designed with care, reflecting Sam’s commitment to creativity and connection.

Based on the island of Kauaʻi, Sam draws inspiration from the island's vibrant colors, rich culture, and stunning natural beauty. As a single mom of two girls, she pours love and imagination into every piece, creating unique, high-quality items that celebrate family, creativity, and the spirit of Hawaiʻi.

All orders are packed and shipped from Hawai'i with care. Please allow 1–2 business days for processing before your gift is sent out.

U.S. Orders: Shipped via USPS or UPS. Delivery times vary by service selected at checkout, but most orders arrive within 3–7 business days after processing.

Warm-Weather & Seasonal Considerations

During warmer months — typically May through September — and year-round when shipping to warm-weather destinations (including the Southern U.S., Southwest, Hawaii, and international tropical climates), packages may experience elevated temperatures inside delivery vehicles, postal facilities, and mailboxes. This is a normal part of shipping perishable food items and is outside our control once a package leaves our facility.

Transit Risk

While we pack our chocolate items with care, we cannot guarantee a specific temperature inside your package during transit. Chocolate that has softened or bloomed during shipping is still safe to eat, though the texture and appearance may be affected.

Packaging Precautions

We recommend selecting a faster shipping service at checkout to reduce the time your order spends in transit during warm weather. If you are sending a gift to a recipient in a warm-weather region, consider timing your order to arrive when someone will be home to receive it promptly.

If Your Chocolate Arrives Soft or Melted

If your order arrives soft, please refrigerate or place in a cool area immediately. The chocolate will typically re-set as it cools and is safe to enjoy. If the product arrived in an unsatisfactory condition beyond softening — such as a broken seal, spilled contents, or visible spoilage — please contact us at info@mekealohagifts.com with a photo and your order number, and we will review your case individually.
