MELI WRAPS

Meli Wraps offers a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic, inspired by the natural beauty of Kaua’i, Hawai’i. Founded in 2016 by Melia Foster and her childhood friend Nicole Galchutt, Meli Wraps emerged from a desire to protect our oceans and create a better world for future generations. The beeswax wraps are made with local Hawaiian beeswax and 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, designed to be reusable and compostable, providing an eco-friendly solution for food storage while supporting local beekeepers and the environment.

Each purchase of Meli Wraps contributes to the mission of reducing plastic waste, with an estimated impact of over a million pounds of plastic kept out of oceans and landfills. The brand is also dedicated to community engagement and environmental conservation, partnering with the Surfrider Foundation for beach cleanups and donations. All orders are packed and shipped from Hawai'i with care. Please allow 1–2 business days for processing before your gift is sent out.

Our chocolate-covered macadamia nuts and other chocolate gifts are made with real chocolate, which can soften or melt when exposed to warm temperatures during transit. Please read the following before placing your order.

Warm-Weather & Seasonal Considerations

During warmer months — typically May through September — and year-round when shipping to warm-weather destinations (including the Southern U.S., Southwest, Hawaii, and international tropical climates), packages may experience elevated temperatures inside delivery vehicles, postal facilities, and mailboxes. This is a normal part of shipping perishable food items and is outside our control once a package leaves our facility.

Transit Risk

While we pack our chocolate items with care, we cannot guarantee a specific temperature inside your package during transit. Chocolate that has softened or bloomed during shipping is still safe to eat, though the texture and appearance may be affected.

Packaging Precautions

We recommend selecting a faster shipping service at checkout to reduce the time your order spends in transit during warm weather. If you are sending a gift to a recipient in a warm-weather region, consider timing your order to arrive when someone will be home to receive it promptly.

If Your Chocolate Arrives Soft or Melted

If your order arrives soft, please refrigerate or place in a cool area immediately. The chocolate will typically re-set as it cools and is safe to enjoy. If the product arrived in an unsatisfactory condition beyond softening — such as a broken seal, spilled contents, or visible spoilage — please contact us at info@mekealohagifts.com with a photo and your order number, and we will review your case individually.
